Aaron Draper

Aaron Draper has been working as a photographer in the portrait industry since 1999. He began Bride Nouveau Magazine in Modesto, California in 2004 and published it until 2009. He holds a BA in English Literature from California State University, Chico and an MFA in photography from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. He teaches photography at CSU Chico and continues to work as a freelance photographer. He is the founder of ProfessionalPhotoCritique.org and his critiques will focus on lighting and fundamentals.

David Noceti

David Noceti is a professional wedding and portrait photographer from California’s Central Valley. He attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco from 2000 to 2002, where he studied illustration and animation before getting his BA in English from CSU Stanislaus. He started using Photoshop at the Academy back before it was used as a transitive verb (Photoshop 4) and takes a very painterly approach to photo illustrations. He is a weekly contributor to ProfessionalPhotoCritique.org and his critiques will focus on Photoshop and post production techniques.

Megan Mack

Megan Mack has a BA in Fine Arts and an MA in Education from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York. She also has earned an MFA from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She has been working as a professional photographer for the last ten years and specializes in lifestyle work with an emphasis on the intersection of landscape and rock climbing photography. She is a weekly contributor to ProfessionalPhotoCritique.org and her critiques will focus on landscape and adventure/outdoor photography.

 

Jason Halley
Jason Halley

Jason Halley has been working since 2014 as University Photographer for California State University, Chico. Among his duties will be taking photos for Chico State publications and web pages, covering campus events and managing a database of University images. He also worked as a staff photojournalist for the Chico Enterprise-Record from 2005-2014, during which he received numerous awards for his photos from the California Newspaper Publishers Association. Along with his Chico State B.A., Jason has also earned an MFA in Photography from the Academy of Art in San Francisco. He is a weekly contributor to ProfessionalPhotoCritique.org and his critiques will focus on photojournalism/documentary and fine art/conceptual.

Emily Nicole Teague

Emily Nicole Teague is a nineteen year-old photographer based out of Chico, California. She is a fashion and photojournalism photographer, traveler, and environmental and social activist. Being self-taught, Emily started taking pictures at sixteen, and at seventeen began breaking into the Los Angeles fashion photography scene. Her work has taken her across the United States and throughout Europe. The next project of hers will be a month in Israel documenting the conflicts within Jerusalem and surrounding areas. Emily focuses on highlighting feminine beauty and is moving in the direction of creating conceptual fashion projects. When she’s not photographing or editing, she can be found sketching upcoming photoshoot ideas, and studying the art of lighting.

Seshu Badrinath

Seshu Badrinath is a portrait photographer based in Avon, Connecticut. After interning at MSNBC.com and at Raleigh’s News & Observer, Seshu worked at ESPN.com as one of their photo editors for five years before returning to photograph for himself and then later for Avon Old Farms School. He lives publishes a blog for photographers called Tiffinbox (tiffinbox.org). He is a portrait photographer who caters to families who wish to celebrate intimate, sentimental and natural moments.
